In Memory of Loki, a silly fluff boy.
Today, barely a month after losing our dear cat Poe, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Loki. The two were a few years apart, and when we got Loki back in 2011 Poe took him under his wing and the pair became the best of buddies. Loki was a wild child from the Green Bay shelter, and he won everyone over with his charm and stunning good looks. He really did live up to his name, for he was a prince of chaos wherever he went! He also had the biggest purr, and loved to sleep on his people (and puzzles) for hours.
It is heartbreaking to lose two amazing, loving cats in such a short time. But like Poe, Loki lived a wonderful life with all of us who adored him. His pain has ended, and I like to think he’s back with his Poe now, causing mischief in kitty heaven.

Today we say goodbye to our dear Poe; time-traveler, shapeshifter, sage, and cat. This beautiful boy lived an incredible life. From being a stray on the streets of Green Bay to relaxing on the coast of Scotland, life was an adventure for Poe. I was just starting 7th grade when we got him, and he was my partner in crime ever since. The finest muse, Poe starred in everything from school video projects to homemade musicals, inspiring all who gazed upon him. He was the sweetest boy and loved sunshine and cuddles.
Historians will say that this majestic creature lived for 15 years...but to those who knew him, Poe will live in our hearts forever. I love you, Poe!

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around dA much lately. Between art block, coursework, and health stuff I haven't been doing art this month.
A current hurdle is that I've always used Photoshop for digital art, but as of this month I no longer have it. I had been paying for a student subscription, but that only lasts so long and it turns out the last few months they had been charging for the non student price, and I can't seem to change it back. The normal subscription price is too expensive so...I'm trying to find a photoshop alternative right now. I'm downloading Krita today to see if that works. Photoshop is the only digital art program I've used since 2009, so I'm nervous about the situation. :< Hopefully it works out okay.
I miss doing art and having things to post. I hope everyone has been doing well.
