Description

Some more sketches from this summer! All characters from the Seaside RP.

I've been trying to make myself draw in good ole sketchbooks again--it always amazes me how much easier drawing is on paper. Painting is a whole other issue, but as far as using a pencil to sketch vs a tablet, I find it's a lot easier to get the smooth, reckless flow from a pencil than on photoshop. I think the traditional sketches have more character.

I love your sketch pages! Lot's of dynamic poses and different subject matters (LOVE the bottom left corner tehe), and I really love the two sketches of Mollie (at least I think one of them is her, holding the flowers, and the other one with the knife!).

I agree with using paper and pencil (or pen) vs the tablet. There's something about the physical feeling of the paper for me that I really like.
